Please find below answers to our most frequently asked questions.

If you don’t see your question, please give us a call: (425) 270-2991.

Do I need an appointment?

Our urgent care is on a walk-in basis only—we do NOT take appointments. Cases are seen in order of arrival. At check-in, our staff usually can assess a pet’s issue that might not be stable or appropriate for our urgent care model; at that point, we will refer you to the emergency room.

We make every effort to update you on wait times—our current estimated wait times are available online or by calling (425) 270-2991. Again, if you feel your pet cannot wait to be seen, please visit the nearest emergency veterinary hospital. We recommend checking ER Vets of Western Washington’s Facebook page, which features the wait times for ER veterinary facilities.

Please note that we can get very busy, especially on the weekends. We often meet our patient maximum early in the day, which means we might not be able to accommodate you and your pet as we near closing time. To alleviate any potential frustration, we highly recommend checking our current estimated wait times online and/or calling ahead to confirm if we are still accepting patients: (425) 270-2991.

What are the costs for urgent care?

The cost of the initial exam is $155. The doctor will provide you with an estimate for all services and/or diagnostics beyond the exam fee. Payment is due at the time of service. We take all major credit cards as well as Care Credit and Trupanion. We are not able to offer payment plans at this time.

Can I check-in beforehand?

No, but to save time, feel free to complete our Patient Registration form. You can print the completed form and bring it with you, or email the completed form to clinic@arrowanimalurgentcare.com.

Filling out your forms in advance expedites the check-in process; however, pets are seen in the order of arrival. Thank you for your patience.

PLEASE NOTE: If your pet is coughing, or if your puppy is vomiting/has diarrhea, please leave them in the car while checking in as these are potentially contagious to other pets.

When are you open?

Our compassionate, knowledgeable staff is here to serve your pets daily from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

(We are closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Day.)

Where are you located?

We’re now located at 4208 Lind Ave. SW in Renton, located less than 5 minutes off of WA-167. Same exceptional care in a new place — but now with more parking, more than double the clinic space, and closer freeway access.
