Our animal urgent care services are offered on a walk-in basis only; we do not take appointments. In general, we provide care for your pet in situations where the problem isn’t critical enough to seek emergency care but you are unable to get an appointment at your primary veterinarian’s office within a few days.
We treat the following issues in dogs and cats:
- limping or pain
- minor lacerations, wounds, or burns
- abscesses
- vomiting and diarrhea
- blood in urine or stool
- cough or upper respiratory infection
- urinary tract infections
- toxin ingestion
- allergic reactions
- eye problems
- ear or skin infections
- scooting or licking
- broken toenails
In comparison, an emergency veterinarian hospital would treat issues like open fractures, heavy or uncontrolled bleeding, difficulty breathing, inability to urinate, and seizures. For these issues or life-threatening emergencies, please go to the nearest emergency veterinary hospital. We recommend checking ER Vets of Western Washington’s Facebook page, which features the wait times for ER veterinary facilities.
For poison-related emergencies, contact ASPCA Poison Control, available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Call (888) 426-4435 or visit the ASPCA’s website.
Wait times vary on a case-by-case basis and are always evolving. We do not place time limits on patient care, and we will be with you and your pet as soon as possible. You can expect wait times to range anywhere from 2 to 6 hours on any given day. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
We make every effort to update you on wait times—our current estimated wait times are available online or by calling (425) 270-2991. If you feel your pet cannot wait to be seen, please visit the nearest emergency veterinary hospital.
